Jessica graduated with a BA in Business Administration from Faulkner University and got her MA in Marraige and Family Counseling in December 2021 from Amridge University. As a result of volunteering at schools, camps and churches working with both children and adults for over 20 years, Jessica felt the impact and recognized the need for mental health education and skill building to manage the stress and traumas of life. To further her ability to make a difference, she continues to invest time in obtaining certifications in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (EB-CBT), Eye Movement desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). She is currently a Trauma informed Registered Marriage & Family Therapy Intern. She is also trained in suicide prevention, disaster relief, child/elder abuse recognition & reporting. She is trained in and uses Gottman Method Couples Therapy in her practice.
Jessica is a devoted wife of 25 years having raised 2 children, now adults. Together they enjoy adventuring new places, hosting game nights, ziplining, hiking, art projects, spending time outdoors, and her life with pets. Jessica also has ambitions of finishing her certifications, learning French, and learning how to sail.
