Gary Norman serves as the Director of Operations for Recovery Keys addiction treatment center in Ponte Vedra Beach. He is responsible for managing daily operations and ensuring the safety and security of the facilities.
With over a decade of experience in substance abuse and recovery services, Gary is dedicated to providing high-quality care for individuals seeking help through drug and alcohol rehab, detox, and both residential and outpatient treatment programs.
Gary began his career in 2010 as an EMT at the detoxification unit of the Vince Carter Sanctuary in Bunnell, Florida. His commitment to excellence led to a promotion to a supervisory role, where he oversaw Recovery Support Specialist staff and ensured compliance with state regulations and Department of Children and Families (DCF) standards, furthering his expertise in addiction treatment operations.
In 2019, Gary advanced to Operations Manager and Safety Compliance Officer at Pearl of the Sea in St. Augustine, refining his skills in managing substance abuse treatment facilities until the center’s closure in 2020. He joined Recovery Keys in April 2024 as Safety Compliance Officer and was quickly promoted to Director of Operations in May. His leadership and operational expertise play a vital role in supporting Recovery Keys’ mission of helping clients achieve lasting recovery.
Outside of work, Gary is passionate about fitness and enjoys competing in CrossFit. His dedication and discipline, both personally and professionally, reflect his commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment for individuals on their journey to overcoming substance abuse.
