Lindsey K. Bennett serves as Clinical Director for Recovery Keys addiction treatment and recovery program. Overseeing all clinical programming, Lindsey’s primary focus is to ensure that patients receiving treatment at Recovery Keys are provided with high quality, individualized and evidenced-based treatment.
Lindsey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Qualified Supervisor for Registered Clinical Social Worker Interns. Lindsey obtained her Bachelor of Science in Child Development from Florida State University and her Master of Social Work from the University of Central Florida. Lindsey has over 7 years of experience working in all levels of substance abuse treatment, specializing in treating impaired professionals. Prior to specializing in addiction treatment, Lindsey devoted her education and skills to working with individuals who were diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness, the geriatric population and children who experienced abuse and neglect.
Lindsey served on the Board of Directors for the Florida Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), which is the largest membership organization of professional social workers worldwide. One of her responsibilities as a member of the board was serving in the role of Chair for the Volusia/Flagler Unit of the Florida Chapter of NASW. Lindsey remains an active member of NASW-FL. Lindsey currently serves as a Member at Large on the Board of Directors for the Florida Society of Clinical Hypnosis (FSCH).
The therapeutic approaches most commonly utilized in her work with patients are Existential Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Clinical Hypnosis.
