Joe Jamison, CAC, Program Director for Recovery Keys, is a Certified Addiction Counselor and has been working, volunteering and interning in the field of addiction for more than 13 years and has lived 20 years in sobriety.
Prior to joining the Recovery Keys addiction treatment program as a Lead Counselor, Joe Jamison, CAC worked in a residential treatment setting with one of the largest substance abuse agencies in central Florida. Joe’s work experience includes working several years with an Intensive Outpatient facility (IOP) as an addiction counselor as well as the Drug Court programs treatment team in Volusia and Flagler County.
While working in the direct care setting, Joe’s duties and titles have ranged from a Recovery Support Specialist to Addiction Counselor. He has maintained continuous sobriety for over 18 years through his active involvement with the self-help community and remains committed to making a difference in peoples lives that continue to suffer from the disease of addiction one day at a time.
Joe’s education is in Human Services with Addictions Specialization from Daytona State College. He continues to subscribe to the standards and guidelines of the ACA’s code of ethics and currently possesses a Florida Certification as a Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC).
