Dr. James Yingling is an Addiction Medicine Physician at Recovery Keys and offers his experience in treating patients struggling with substance use disorders, including addiction to alcohol, drug and pain medications.
Dr Yingling’s true passion for addiction medicine grew out of his treatment of many patients at the University of Florida and VA health systems. On a daily basis, he saw the consequences of addictive disease. Dr. Yingling believes that an essential core issue of addiction is not only its acute treatment, but, more importantly, fostering long term individual recovery.
Dr. Yingling graduated residency at University of Florida and is board certified in family medicine. He received advanced specialty training in Anesthesia Surgical Critical Care and Addiction Medicine at University of Florida. He has practiced in Hospitalist Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine. He is an active member of American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), and the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM).
